STATEMENT FOR

MARKET PLACE, TETBURY
Introduction
We aim to
cater for the needs of all visitors in our home-based, 2 bedroom bed and
breakfast. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have

Pre-Arrival
- The nearest train station is at Kemble, around
8 miles away by car.
Taxis are available at a cost of around £18 for a single journey to
Tetbury but must be booked by directly guests.
- The nearest bus stop is a short walk from the
premises in Long Street. The 620 service runs between Tetbury and Bath and
the 881 service runs between Tetbury and Cirencester, via Kemble train
Station.
- We have a website
(www.onemarketplace-tetbury.co.uk) with photographs of the property,
including our bedrooms, which are situated on the first floor.
- No dogs, including guide dogs, permitted in
the premises.

Arrival
& Car Parking Facilities
- There is no car park at the premises however
there is limited on street parking, a long stay pay and display car park
(all on level ground from the premises), and a free car park but this
involves a 5 minute walk up a steep gradient.
- Assistance with luggage is always offered to
all guests.

Main
Entrance & Reception
- The entrance is accessed directly from the
street through the Hortensia shop.
There is a low step (around 20 cm) from the shop into the premises
hallway; a very low step (2 cm) from the hallway into the guest lounge;
and a small step up (10 cm) into the kitchen.
- The premises entrance door (w 90cm) wide
provides access to the shop, and further door (70cm) opens into hallway,
with the guest lounge straight ahead through a second door (w 90cm).
- Both bedrooms and their private amenities are
on the first floor.

Public
Areas - General (Internal)
- Entrance hall has a mix of stone tile and
carpet; the guest lounge has carpet; the guest breakfast room has a quarry
tile floor.
- Guest bedrooms are all carpeted. The king size
room toilet and shower rooms are tiled; the twin room bathroom has
linoleum flooring.

Public
Areas - WC
- The downstairs toilet is carpeted. It is
located in the entrance hallway by the staircase to the first floor.
- Guest bedrooms have separate private amenities.

Breakfast
Room
- Breakfast is served in the breakfast area of
the kitchen on the ground floor.
- The rectangular table has under space 60cm high.
All chairs are without arms and can be moved.
- The breakfast menu is provided in guest rooms
for guests to select their breakfast for the following day. Large print menus are available on
request as is a larger print version of this accessibility statement.
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and all other
diets catered for upon request.
- The bed and breakfast is no smoking throughout
the premises.

First
Floor
- First floor is accessed via a 85cm wide carpeted
staircase (12 steps). There is no lift or stair-lift to first floor.
- There is level access from the landing to the
twin room, and one step up (10cm) to the landing to enter the king size
room.
- All doors to rooms are minimum 70cm width
doors.

Bedrooms
- Both bedrooms are on first floor, with secure
lockable doors to all rooms.
- Televisions all have remote controls and teletext/subtitles.
- King size room has a king size bed with good
access from both sides.
- Twin room has two standard single beds, both
with access from both sides and one with access from one side only.

Bathroom
and Shower Facilities
We have a main
bathroom and two shower rooms, which are all next to the accompanying bedroom
and on the same level. All are fitted with secure lockable doors.
- Twin room bathroom has a bath (depth 40cm) which has built in handles
to aid getting in and out and there is ample space to get in and out. There is
a 15cm step up into shower cubicle. The shower door open outwards on a hinge.
- The shower next to the king size room has a 20cm step up into the
shower cubicle. The shower door is
a bi-fold pivot door.
There are no grab rails or other specific
equipment installed in any bathroom/toilet/shower room).
